Low-cost airlines have cheap airfares and discounted tickets on flights from Europe to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL, MLH, EAP) in Switzerland and France.

Around 20 airlines fly from Basel Airport (BSL) to over 50 destinations in Europe. Low-cost airlines, especially easyJet, Air Berlin and TUIfly, have a strong presence at Basel resulting in low airfares and cheap prices on many flights. As easyJet-Switzerland (EZS), it flies to Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Cagliari (summer), Hamburg, Istanbul, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga, Marrakech, Naples, Nice, Olbia (summer), Palma de Mallorca (summer), Porto, and Rome-Ciampino.

Cheap Flights to Basel Airport (BSL) on Low-Cost Airline Air Berlin

German low-cost airline Air Berlin (AB) flies from Basel Airport mostly to Mediterranean holiday resorts including Fuerteventura, Heraklion (summer), Kos (summer), Lamezia Terme (summer), Lanzarote, Las Palmas, Nuremberg, Palma de Mallorca, Rhodes (summer), and Tenerife-South.

Flights to Basel Airport (BSL) on Lufthansa and Swiss International

German airline Lufthansa (LH) flies from Basel to its three main German hubs Düsseldorf (twice daily), Frankfurt (four times daily), and Munich (five times daily). Swiss International Air Lines (LX), which belongs to Lufthansa, flies from Basel to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Belgrade, Brussels, Budapest, London-City (LCY), Manchester, Nice, Prague, Warsaw, and Zurich. Lufthansa is planning to increase the number of flights on Swiss from Basel.

The daily, 30-minute Swiss flights from Zurich (ZRH) are the only scheduled Swiss domestic flights to Basel Airport (BSL).

On weekdays, regional French airlines Airlinair (A5) flies to Rennes while Twin Jet (T7) flies to Marseille and Toulouse.

EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is conveniently located in France only minutes by road from the historic Swiss city Basel and just over an hour from Strasbourg in Alsace, France.
