Cheap Flights to Monterrey, Mexico

Low Airfares and Ticket Prices on Mexican Low-Cost Airlines to MTY

Oct 24, 2007 Henk Bekker

Mexican low-cost airlines have low airfares and cheap tickets on flights from Monterrey (MTY) to Mexico City, Cancun, Guadalajara, Queretaro, Leon, Veracruz, Merida, etc.

Cheap flights on low-cost airlines are increasingly common from Monterrey Airport (officially, General Mariano Escobedo International Airport). Monterrey Airport (MTY) is home base for low-cost airline Viva Aerobus, which has many non-stop flights to Mexican destinations that previously needed transfers in Mexico City. Aviacsa and Aeromexico Connect also use Monterrey Airport as a major hub. Non-stop international flights, mostly from the USA, also avoid transfers at Mexico City Airport.
